  So if you scroll through the reviews and end up seeing kind of the same thing being said every time - believe the hype - this place is as legit as it gets!
  
  Not sure how we have visited AC so many times but had not been to White House Subs prior to this most recent visit!
  
  The old AC vibe is wonderful.  If you get a chance to eat inside the restaurant, I really recommend it.  The walls are lined with stars, celebrities, musicians and political figures who have all visited and enjoyed the excellent offerings.
  
  We had a philly cheesesteak, and an Italian sub.  100% truth to the fact that the "half" is a LOT of food.  A whole would easily feed 2-3 people.  The meats were fresh and plentiful, the toppings were fantastic, including that super tasty pepper relish with which they top the subs.  The bread was perfect.
  
  Tip for first timers - if you are not going to dine in, proceed directly inside and to the back where you'll grab a number which they will call when it's time to place your order.  We also noticed that they did not let any solo diners sit in the limited booths, they either had to wait for the counter (with only 4 or 5 seats) or get it to go.  There IS a park right next door to which they recommend if you want to eat prior to continuing with your day.
  
  We stayed at Caesar's and White House Subs is a super easy and comfortable walk of just a couple blocks.
  
  This place is the real deal when it comes to subs... and no wonder they've been at it so long.  Do yourself a favor and get here during your next visit!

  White House Subs is an institution in Atlantic City. It's a short walk from the boardwalk. There was street parking too. The outside is retro with a neon sign and red/white awning. The inside is small and hasn't changed over the decades which makes even better to eat in! You can also take out.
  There's a lots of cool pictures of famous people who've eaten here over the years. The booths were big and comfortable. From the counter stools, you can watch them cook!
  Service was quick. The food is made to order. The Italian sub was delicious! It had lots of meat complemented by lettuce, tomato and onion. The roll had a perfectly chewy texture. The best part is the pepper relish that's served with the subs! It adds a special kick! The waitress was happy to answer questions and tell us about the food.
  We took a sub home too. It held up well after a 1.5 hour drive. The waitress packed lots of condiments including some extra relish we requested!
  It's a great spot for an inexpensive lunch or dinner!

  Puking up your insides from the night before? Driving through AC and looking for something filling? Wanna hit up that place youve always heard sweet nothings about? Well White House Subs is your spot. ive been coming here for years, and unfortunately i always end up getting 2 of the same things. being a vegetarian doesnt give you much choices here, but the ones that do are good. the subs are huge, priced well, and hit the spot. eat before you go to drink, or eat when you first wake up after a heavy night of drinking. whatever your method, you will be happy. the eggs and peppers is my go to here. its fatty, tasty and filling. the tuna is a safe bet too. parking tends to be shitty outside. and i believe they have a 10 min for cards.

  My husband and I go down to AC to play poker and usually stay on the property to eat, but decided to go out and check out a new place. We found White House Subs and decided to check it out. Long lines and good sandwiches are what you can expect from here!
  
  There are booths/tables to sit at if you want to dine in, though you'll have to wait. We each get half subs (which is like 12 inches) of the philly cheese and chicken cheese steaks. The philly cheese steak was good, but for some reason the chicken cheese steak just seemed much juicier and now that's what I get.
  
  The wait time has fluctuated from 10-15 minutes to a 45 minute wait for a pick-up order. Waiting on line to order or dine in is similar.
  
  Either way, it's worth it and we come every time we come to AC.
